AcademiaHub as a Data Controller

AcademiaHub acts as a Data Controller in its relationship with users, managing personal information provided for using our services (such as registration information, including email addresses). We do not sell personal data to third parties, nor do we use such data for marketing or advertising purposes without explicit consent.

We utilize a minimal number of sub-processors to provide our services. Here is the full list:

AcademiaHub as a Data processor

When configured with default settings, AcademiaHub does not store any private information about our users' activities beyond what is necessary for the provision of our services.

Data we store for each visitor:

  • Unique Identifier: A unique identifier is generated to manage user sessions without storing personal data.
  • Country: Determined based on IP address for localization purposes.
  • User Agent: Information about the browser, operating system, and device type, used to optimize user experience.
  • Referrer: The referring website, if available, to understand how users find our platform.
  • UTM Parameters: Tracking data for marketing campaign analysis, if available.
  • Page Views: Records of pages visited to analyze and improve content delivery.

AcademiaHub users may also provide additional personal data, such as name, email address, and other sensitive information, for enhanced services. In such cases, AcademiaHub acts as a Data Processor, and users are responsible for the personal data they share with us. We process and store this data securely and do not share it with any third-party services without consent.

Users have full control over their data and can view or delete their information through AcademiaHub's user interface or by contacting our support team. Deleted data is also removed from our backups after 30 days.

We do not sell or share users' data, whether sensitive or public, with any third parties.

We do not set cookies on our users' devices for tracking purposes. This means there is no need for any third-party cookie consents.
